Return Policy

 

We want your online shopping experience to be fabulous, and we hope you absolutely love every item you purchase. But, we know that sometimes things don’t fit right or aren’t the right color. We strive to provide our customers with reasonable prices and therefore must follow certain policies in order to continue to maintain that. If you find that you need to return an item, please follow our Return Policy as outlined below.

Look Over Your Order When You Receive It. Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered. If you believe your item is defective, please contact us within 3 business days of receipt of your order. If you were sent the wrong items or you have items missing from your order, please contact us within 3 business days of receipt of your order so we can correct the oversight right away!

Here is a quick run down of our rules and procedures for returns, but please read the remaining parts of our policy to ensure you understand the details of our policy.
* Items can be returned for store credit only, issued in the form of a gift card sent via email. We cannot issue refunds.
* All returns must be received by The Blue Mermaid Boutique within 14 days* of the date the order is delivered to you.
* Anything purchased at a discounted price is a FINAL SALE and is not eligible for return.
* Returned items must remain un-washed and unworn, with original tags attached.
* Include your original receipt. (It helps us out if you circle the item(s) you wish to return.)
* Shipping is non-refundable, unless there was a mistake on our end.
* Please allow our 5-7 business days to process your return once it is received.

*Please allow 5-10 days for package transit when returning an item to us. This will ensure that we receive your return within the 14 day window.

Return Process
If you find that you need to return an item, please follow these steps:
* Contact us by email within 3 days of receipt of your order and let us know if the item is defective or if you just aren’t happy with your purchase. *Notifications of returns are not valid unless they are sent to us by email to bluemermaidboutique@gmail.com
* Fill out the Return Form provided in your package and include with your return.
* Include your original receipt. (It helps us out if you circle the item(s) you wish to return.)
* Shipping charges are not refundable, unless there was a mistake on our end.
* Returned items are only eligible for store credit, and will be issued via email, to the original email provided at time of purchase. Store credit can be used on any future purchase, and is valid for a period of one-year from the date issued.
* Mail the item back to us and allow time to ensure the item reaches us within 14 days of the date it was delivered to you.
* Please allow 5-7 business days to process your return once it is received.
* Please do not mail items back that will be received in our store AFTER 14 days of your receipt. Items received after the 14 day period will be returned to you without issuing a credit.

Store Credit
Here are a few things to remember about your store credit issued and sent via email. If we missed anything just drop us a line at bluemermaidboutique@gmail.com
* Store credit codes will expire one year from the date issued.
* Your use of the Store Credit constitutes your agreement to our Terms and Conditions.

Changing or Cancelling Your Order
Sometimes something happens and you need to change or cancel your order. We totally understand and are here to help, but you must contact us immediately! Orders are pulled, packed and shipped quickly. Once we initially process your order (usually within 2-4 hours) we will be unable to make any changes to your order.

Adding Items to an Order You Just Placed
First, contact us immediately! We may be able to add the item to your existing order, but only if we have not already processed your order (usually within 2-4 hours). We cannot add additional items to your order once it has been processed and a label printed. If you miss that window, place a new order for that can’t miss item.
